MTSensII

Description
MTSensII is a low-cost device for monitoring heat exposure duration and intensity during shipment of perishable industrial products.
The device features an RFID smart tag having the shape of a credit card.
When applied on a product to be monitored, MTSensII acquires temperature exposure information throughout a product life cycle. It further measures exposure times with a high accuracy, while assigning a time index to each recorded datum before storing it.
The thermal history of monitored products is recorded and saved in a non-volatile internal memory, which can be read any time during product life even when the battery is dead. MTSens can answer queries from ISO 15693 compatible 13.56 MHz RFID readers.
Reader
MTSens II is a RFID tag compliant with the ISO 15693 standard, and for this reason it can be red with readers designed to read transponders which operated at 13.56 MHz. The suggested reader for MTSensII is the FEIG PR101 USB, a reader with advanced functionalities that is guaranteed to operate smoothly with the MTSensII Manager Desktop application which is distributed together with the tags. Montalbano Technology is constantly working to extend the list of supported readers.
