The company is headed by Giuseppe Oriana. Mr Oriana is the founder of Montalbano Technology S.p.A. (MT) and is Chairman and CEO of both Montalbano Technology S.p.A. and Montalbano Industria Agroalimentare S.p.A. (MIA)

The management of the business is under the direction of Daniele Grosso. Dr. Grosso has a Ph.D degree in electronics, with working experience as a consultant in STM and Accent. He joined the Edinburgh office of Cadence Design Systems in January 2000 where he covered roles with growing responsibilities in projects for customer such as Nokia, Philips and IBM. He was hired in 2005 to fill the role of MT's Managing Director.

Giovanni Carlesi is the Director in charge of Budget & Control. He previously worked in the Accounting & Control Department of Piaggio & C. SpA and then as Accounting & Control Director of Sepi Holding, a company subsidiary to the Fiat Group. Until 2007, he has been working as MIA’s Managing Director. .

Claudia Di Leonardo is the person in charge of accounting. She has developed a large experience in ERP field. She joined MT in July 2008

Francesco Lertora joined MT in 2006 to fill the role of Product Manager. He worked in STM’s Central R&D Division for over seven years, where he also pioneered the world of the reconfigurable system on chip architecture and had projects and papers published in important scientific journals.

Luca Noli joined MT in October 2006 to fill the role of Production and Test Manager. He worked in STM’s TPA (and APG) Division for over seven years, contributing to design and validate complex microcontroller based systems with embedded flash for automotive devices.

Franco Carvelli joined MT in October 2006 and is a Design Engineer. He graduated in Electronic Engineering in June 2006.

Vincenzo Ferranti is a design engineer that joined MT in February 2007. He graduated in Electronic Engineering in November 2007. His final thesis project titled “ design and implementation of an embedded system based on RFID Iso 15693”, was assigned by MT and was developed in MT laboratory.

Marco Sponza joined MT in November 2007 to fill the role of Software Engineer. He developed software in several progamming languages and for various platform and operating systems for over seven years in different sofware-house.

Tito Nasturzio is MT’s Commercial Advisor. He previously worked in Piaggio and in Erg with technical and commercial roles. He has specific experience in the launch and the coordination of new production facilities. He has been the Director in charge for all Piaggio’s plants in the Far East for more than 6 years. Since 1999 he has worked as Commercial Director for MIA.

Gianmarco Celtana joined MT in 2006 and is currently the Sales Manager while studying part time for the MBA qualification at the SDA Bocconi. He worked 8 years in automotive field.

Maria Vittoria Oriana is the manager in charge of Marketing & Communication of the MT solutions project. She graduated in philosophy, and, after training periods at the Sorbonne, at Bilbao University and at Berkeley, worked in MIA’s Communication, Advertising and Public Relations department before joining MT in January 2006.

Chiara Navacchi graduated in Foreign Languages for Tourism in December 2006 and after a training period in UK, joined MT in November 2007.

Marco Bianchini is MT’s General Advisor for Technology and Product Development. Dr. Bianchini holds five degrees in scientific fields. He obtained many technical and scientific certificates, written specific papers and occupied important institutional posts in the scientific and research fields. He is also the holder of a number of patents. He is now a prominent Senior Researcher at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Rome.
